Dado que IO anunció su Project 007, cuyo título oficial ha acabado siendo First Light, allá por noviembre de 2020, muchos pensaron que la idea había quedado atrapada sin remedio en el purgatorio. Nada más lejos de la realidad, afirma Hakan Abrak, CEO de la compañía: parece ser que sus responsables han dedicado estos cuatro últimos años a cocer a fuego lento un blockbuster de acción sobre el que muy pronto descubriremos nuevos detalles. “No es la transformación de una película en videojuego”, aclara Abrak en IGN. “Es un nuevo comienzo total y se está convirtiendo en una historia que, esperamos, acabe dando origen a una gran trilogía en el futuro. Y lo que es igual de importante y emocionante: se trata de un nuevo Bond. Es un Bond que hemos construido de cero para los gamers (…), un Bond al que los gamers podrán considerar como propio”.
